For the last leg of this trip, we had planned to visit our (also Dutch) friends Anneke and Dries on their farm near Angusville.

Wow, that was an amazing start of the trip in Roblin! What a little gem that East Goose Lake was. We continued the drive east, to Dauphin, and then we turned south towards the park. Towards forests and hills!

With a heavy heart we left the rugged scenery of Ontario behind. We are in Manitoba now, in Birds Hill Provincial Park, north of Winnipeg, for one night. Tomorrow we’ll get back to Saskatchewan to relax some more at Moose Mountain Provincial Park (Kenosee Lake) before we head home.
Our camping season started after our BC vacation (which was by car).
