Summer’s over…

Summer’s over?!?!

Yep! For now anyway 😉

Well… we had some ridiculously beautiful weather the past weeks. It’s been sunny and warm, sometimes 21-22°C, sometimes even 28°! And it’s been dry for almost 7 weeks!! Helloooooo… this is Holland – sea climate – April is supposed to be all over the place weatherwise with definitely a lot of rain and appr. 14 or 16°C on average. But I can’t deny it was wonderful and I’ve already enjoyed our outdoor living room (pergola) a lot! But since Monday it’s over. Rain, rain, rain. Today it’s been drizzling all day without a break and I normally hate that, BUT…

I bought an MP3 player yesterday and I’m very happy with it! I had plans to start walking to work again instead of on the bicycle, to get a bit more exercise, but I said I needed a decent player first. I got the Creative Zen V (not Plus, I don’t care for the FM radio nor the video support) of 1 GB (way plenty for our needs). Walking to work this morning was actually FUN instead of very boring!!

Our Canada trip is getting close… Nico’s RN exam is in exactly 4 weeks and in 3,5 weeks we fly to Regina. There has (again) been a time change and the change over time on Heathrow on our way to Canada is again shortened, but should still be OK if we hurry and don’t get lost 😉 On the way back two flights are just 5 minutes earlier.
