HE PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday, there was an envelope in the mail from the SRNA. I thought, it’s way too early for the exam results, maybe they sent some other info… and if it is about the exam, it’s not good because it’s a big envelope (we heard that would mean it includes application forms for the next exam and if you pass you’d get a small envelope). So with that thought I opened it and a bright green page said “CONGRATULATIONS, YOU PASSED!” right at the top in big letters! Man that shook me up alright!! I ran to Vera to have her verify I was not dreaming, hallucinating or otherwise losing my mind, then called Nico at work and then ran to Ron and Liane next door who gave a trembling me a cup of coffee to calm down 😉
The accompanying letter from the CNA explained why they were able to bring us the results almost a month earlier than planned. There had been some fraud with passing on questions (we had been informed about an investigation about this) and they decided to not look at the section with the short answer questions and only rate the multiple choice questions. So that’s why they finished much earlier!
When Nico got home we ordered in some Chinese food and in the evening we invited our neighbours from next door(s) and across the street (Vera & family) to come over for a few drinks. We sat outside until 11pm, so we celebrated well!
And now we’re still totally shook up but of course oh so happy!!!!!!!! Now we have to get going with stuff concerning our house and the sale, the job offer of the hospital, the work permit, etc etc…

Ok, I’m getting a little ahead of myself here 😉 I’m sure the job offer will be fine, and most likely the work permit too, but hey, you don’t have it until you have it, right? Ya never know. But the chance of something intervening with this should be really really small 🙂
When I got to work this morning, my workplace was covered with prints of the Canadian flag, the Canadian map and a picture of the legislature in Regina. Awesome! Petra was the culprit, see the pics 🙂
