Time flies (again) once you get back to your normal (working) routine again. Not much was new in the past weeks…
Our desktop PC didn’t start up anymore when we got back from vacation and the hard disk turns out to be deceased. So often you hear people telling about crashed hard disks and now this happened to us for the first time ever. The data on there are lost and ‘of course’ it had been a while since we made a back up. But the most important files (our email program and my website files) are on the external hard disk we have, so the damage isn’t all that big. We had lots of folders with big originals of pictures waiting to be burned on a CD-R – those are lost. But from most of those we have the smaller ones (or a selection) online in our galleries and we do have the big originals of all our vacations.
July 2nd was our 14th anniversary! Not wedding, just “together”. Nico spontaneously went to get BBQ food, but the weather turned out to be too bad (thunder) so we went to a Greek restaurant, Mykonos in Landgraaf, instead. The food was great and the restaurant looks nice with airbrushed walls. We started with meze (combination of starters), then I had feta saganaki and a Greek salad and Nico had a grill plate. We also ran into Louis and Ruth (and her daughter) who got married that day after their 11 years!
And here are some other pics from the past few weeks that I just uploaded to our photo galleries:
