We want to wish you all a happy holiday season! Here’s our traditional Xmas mail & card:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our\n renovation mode continued for a bit this year as the outside of the \nhouse got finished and it’s beautiful!! And later in the year our friend\n Henk built a sturdy and beautiful fence on one side of the yard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But\n the biggest changes that 2019 brought us were in our work lives. Nico \nneeds a job that is less demanding physically, but there is only so much\n you can do as a Registered Nurse that is not on a regular ward. He \nrecently tried out another job for our provincial phone service for \nmedical questions, but it wasn’t what he hoped for, so he’s back on his \nneuroscience ward again for now. And he’s awaiting hip surgery to become\n a bionic man in January!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marlies wanted to make the full time \nposition work and although she loved the work itself and pushed herself \nhard, the high pace plus the full time hours eventually made her run out\n of energy and her creative soul was hurting. She left in August and \nafter a little break, she has been focusing on web design and blogging \nfor now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the fall we went on a few great camping trips and a \nfew weeks ago we were in Europe again for family visits and Christmas \nmarkets! Keep an eye on a revamped Wobben.org for new blogs (in English \nand Dutch) about the trip soon (you can already sign up to get updates \nin your inbox)! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
