We needed to get outta town!! This must’ve been the craziest, most emotional week ever. May 4th Rob dies, in the morning of May 5th our friends Anne and Tim welcome their son Jesse into this world. A few days later our Dutch friends Chantalle and Roald have their daughter Avalon and just last night, Nico found out that his manager Joy was killed in a freak plane crash (mid-air collison of two small planes)! You can’t make that shit up :O<\/p>\n

Thankfully it’s vacation time (orientation trip to BC) and as soon as we hit the highway in nice sunny weather, we left everything behind and could enjoy the road trip. We drove to Calgary, where we checked into our hotel downtown and went to visit Tanya and Jeremy. Tomorrow morning we have to renew our passports in the Dutch embassy here.<\/p>\n
