We had a bit of a scary day. Nico heard at work they have to cut back and maybe people will be fired. We used to have this “system” of last in, first out and since Nico only started two months ago, he got VERY worried about this! And so was I… Today he called the guy of the personnel department that knew more about it, and the man said he wouldn’t let Nico go. He said the last in, first out thing was not done anymore, it would be based on how well people do their jobs if push comes to shove. And he’s really happy with Nico 🙂 Who isn’t 😉 He said he couldn’t be 100% sure, but he couldn’t be that sure of his own job either. So the risk is at least very small. PHEW!
